After a 4 day whistle-stop visit by Brett, the week was spent carrying out his priorities and preferred schedule of work.
The cleaning of the external stone work has also moved on apace.
The staining/sealing of the entrance hall ceiling is almost complete.
The mahogany arch has received the first panes of glass. Sadly some pieces have been broken and replacements will have to be ordered.
Brett is keen that the site should be kept clean during the final stages of the build so the team have started to clear away the inevitable rubbish and excess materials that bedevil all building sites.
Brett has demonstrated the technique of carving the lizard into the external wall of the Tower and Kenrick will continue the work next week.
The final piece of flashing was fitted to the roof and hopefully, the structure is now completely water proof
Construction of the mosquito net frames has continued. The cleaning of the external stone work has also moved on apace.
