END OF YEAR 3 - THE DRY SEASON RAIN CONTINUES

Week 156 - the last of the first 3 years - has seen the continuation of the unseasonal rainy 'dry' season.  Coupled with a long Easter break, progress has been slow during the period.

The final windows and louvres have been collected, but at the same time, some have had to be removed and returned to repair warping and poor craftsmanship.

The door at the top of the Tower has had its initial fitting, ...

..... and the Main Entrance door is now fully installed.

Some of the glass block detail has been fitted to the Main Entrance staircase.

The grouters have been busy in various areas .....

.... and the wood sealers are getting through cans of Sikkens at an alarming rate!

Local stone for window sills has been purchased.

The floor of the Tower has been cast.

And finally, the 2 windows have been positioned in the gable end of the Main Bedroom.

The coming week will be again foreshortened by the Mayday public holiday.  Hopefully the weather will improve for the start of Year 4!
