During the short working week leading up to the long Easter break, the Team concentrated on making the Tea House secure. The process was a success as, when I arrived to take the pictures, I could not gain entry legitimately! I had to resort to cat-like manoeuvres to get in and made a mental note to ask for a key next week!
The majority of the windows and doors are now in place with locks and catches fitted. This is just a selection.
The main entrance door with concrete surround arrived in last week's container and is providing a challenge for Kenrick & Co to fit.
The plastering of the Tower is almost complete.
The painting and grouting has continued throughout the building. Here the Utility Room,
The Lounge ceiling.
The Lounge veranda roofing.
Reparations to the Main Bedroom en-suite showers are complete and just require the tiles to be replaced.
The Guest Bedroom en-suite.
A trial to use the newly arrived pressure washer to clean a small area of the roof tiles was successful,
.... but it will be a long, labour intensive job and access to areas such as this will be difficult. There is also no guarantee that the algae will not return during the next wet season.
A Happy Easter to all our viewers!
