A fine but very hot week. The rich colour of the wood is now becoming evident as the final coat is applied.
The plasterers continue to fill in the gaps .....
.... and improve the finish where necessary.
Two youngsters have been employed to start the big tidy-up task.
The damaged/warped doors and windows have been collected after being repaired.
The carved stone zodiac has been placed at the bottom of the Tower.
Sadly the central figure has lost half of his nose during transit but Kenrick believes he can produce a suitable replacement.
The main push of the week has been by the painters who have transformed the external walls into a 'Sea of Sand' - the brand name of the paint. A light ochre, it blends in well with the colour of the wood.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking good.
