It has been a very short working week with Monday and Tuesday taken out by Carnival, and Wednesday by torrential rain. For the first time since we have been here, the sun was not visible from dawn to dusk!
However, some work was possible on Thursday and Friday. The lounge balcony is now being used to construct the railings for the swimming pool veranda.
The guest room railings have been partially erected around the balcony.
The Master Bedroom floor is slowly advancing with Ferminus managing to stay awake this week!
Kenrick has fitted the the wooden ceiling above the main entrance .....
...... whilst the ceiling of the car port is also progressing well.
The plasterers are finding small areas to prepare and fill.
Disappointingly we didn't receive any ridge tiles on site but on a visit to the kiln I did manage to catch site of a few that are 'nearly ready' for delivery.
