A showery week, but good progress.
Plastering of the Studio Flat is complete, the floor has been swept and the walls sanded in preparation for painting. Here you can see the first door frame in position.
The noggins have been put in place for the entrance hallway leading to the Studio Flat.
The pool has been emptied and cleaned .......
........ the pool shower plastered ......
... and the noggins inserted for the ceiling.
The final flat tiles have been put onto the north roof. Sadly, the rain is hampering the drying of the ridge tiles and they are unlikely to be ready for a further 2 weeks.
The good news this week is that there was sufficient Mora to complete the west roof and the felt and lathes have been put in place.
Some of the skylights produced last week have also been inserted.
The long ramp leading to the kitchen has been replaced by a shorter version pending a final decision on the design of the steps.
Whilst I was taking these photos, Gabby - the forelady - brought her Dad around to show him how much work she had done this week.
Nearly there with the final roof shape.
