WEEK 48 - A GOOD WEEK

As can be seen below, the weather has settled into dry season format with a shower just before dawn and then long, hot days but with a cooling breeze. Oh yes, and England beat the West Indies in the final ODI here in St Lucia and some of us were lucky enough to take the day off to go and watch! Not so for Kenrick and the Team who continued to work and achieve steady progress.

The Team collected another 4801 roof tiles and most of the rooms in the Studio Flat are now full. Only another 7000 to go. We also collected the 60,000 stainless steel screws to secure them to the roof.

The excavator finally became serviceable and completed the shaping of the front area of the house.

The sceptic tank and soak-away have been 'landscaped' in.

The plastering of the internal walls of the Tower is now complete, but once again, the camera cannot do justice to the effect.

The 8x8s for the lounge balcony railings are being planed and shaped prior to being put in place.

The eaves continue to be put in place.

The scaffolding for the Master Bedroom has been erected. Not a task for those wary of heights!

The neighbours have gone for the easy option and now have a red metal roof.
