WEEK 25 - THE BIRTH OF THE JACUZZI

Whilst Brett & Sabina enjoyed mostly good weather for their sail to the islands, we lost all of Monday and parts of Tuesday/Wednesday to continuing heavy rain. This has been the longest period of continuous rain since records began. However, the weather improved markedly on Thursday and has continued for the remainder of the week.

The beginings of the Jacuzzi have been cast, along with the base for the pool shower.

The steel work for the 2 main columns is being heightened .......

ready for the form-work and casting of the next level.

The block-work for the walls up to the eaves continues apace.

The third beam of the Tower has been cast - only one more to go!

The view from the Stone House ........

and across the valley from Berger Avenue.

Sadly this will be the last blog for 3 weeks as we are returning to UK for a short break. Normal service will be resumed with a bumper edition on 15 November.
