The hut is up, with tanks attached to collect much needed water for concreting. Steel has been tied and made into columns. Holes have been dug for these columns and the ground had been marked out to show the lines of the house.
At the moment an excavator is knocking down old structures that aren’t part of the new build, so there is a lot of rubble to be cleared but all in all a good first week.

The lot below the tea house has started to become a hive of activity, their hut is also built, in fact it is quite a substantial hut, almost bigger than the marked out area for the house. I hope this isn’t going to become a competition of who’s got the biggest hut!
