Week 272....Garden & Gates

Following Brett's return to the UK, the garden lights at the rear have been installed.

Additional storage was needed so we've built another room under the pool deck.

A ramp has been built using remnants of wood....rejects from the construction, it will now need treating & sealing.

Main gates have been made & fitted by Alex.

 much to Tigger & Winnie's dismay.

 A day has been spent clearing up the construction rubbish which was dumped on the neighbouring land.

4 trips to the dump in our good old pickup has saved us on truck fees.

Our fury family (Tigger, Winnie & Pointless/Spice) enjoy playing & chilling out in the cleaned up space........

Great to see the concrete, glass, metal, tiles etc gone....... there's now space to plant more palms & hedging.......



The garden is developing very quickly as it's rainy season.

 The Banana tree is getting pretty big.....hope to have the first red bananas very soon.

The Herbs have become bushes......

Pineapples, Papaya & Wax apple........

The unsightly gutter walling at the front has received some decorative stone work....still lots to do.

I've been enjoying the pool, since the addition of the Floatron the water is now crystal clear....less chlorine, vacuuming & sweeping is needed.

Unfortunately we still have 2 leaks & the granite work still hasn't been completed......hey ho at least I haven't needed to pay his bill......funding is tricky now, will need to take bookings very soon!
