WEEK 263! Tiling & Landscaping

The pool is soooo nearly finished

The boss overseeing the work.........Caribbean style!

The side walls have been tiled

 ..

Unfortunately the polished surface had to be removed....not safe, too slippery! A sealer has been ordered from the US, should arrive in the next few weeks.

The master tilers have also re-done the basement shower floor as it wasn't slopping into the drain....a puddle formed under the bath after each shower, I decided it was a good opportunity to do a mosaic with the leftover tiles.

The BBQ deck has been completed.........

                                                  sanded, treated & sealed......

I finally found some suitable breakfast bar stools....seats to be recovered!

Kenrick has replaced roof tiles......unfortunately the tower still leaks...it's a mystery still to be resolved.

The CCTV installation has proved to be another challenge.

In the Garden:- the flowers, herbs, fruit & vegetables are growing nicely.

The major work has been the stone walls.....collecting stones for Vincent's  'Great Walls'!

Front entrance....... now his biggest challenge........the rear retaining wall!

A combination of quarry stones & local stones picked up around the hillside in Percy pick-up

It's going to look stunning planted up with cascading Bougainvillea!!!!!

Sure he's over halfway now........
