Week 142 has seen a welcome return of Chris the plumber, who has been installing some of the fittings that Sabina brought from UK.
Guy, the electrician, has also been on site to install the wiring for the kitchen ceiling lights ...
... the fibre optic lights for the Tower stairs ...
..... and the AV system.
Floor tiling has continued in the Guest Bedrooms .....
... and Sabina & team are trialing various patterns for the detail inserts.
Sadly, it is unlikely that the local contractor will be able to provide ridge tiles that meet the exacting shapes and sizes demanded by the unusually shaped roof. One alternative proposal is to manufacture concrete tiles in situ, and Kenrick has produced the one above for Brett & Sabina's consideration
Meanwhile, O'Niel and Shevran have been inserting the dry wall to the underside of the Tower stairs.
Elsewhere, the Main Entrance/Kitchen floor has been completed .....
and the BBQ Pit wall finished and the floor ready to be cast ....
whilst Sabina is designing the steps from the BBQ to the garden.
Finally, the drive has been reclaimed from the jungle and the light recesses dug out and the form work for shaped beams inserted.
