WEEK 93 - WE'RE OFF AGAIN!!!!

After 8 weeks of frustration whilst Sabina spent an enormous amount of time and effort to extricate the third and final container of wood from Guyana, it eventually arrived on 9 February.  The following photos show the wood being loaded in Guyana and unloading in St Lucia.  We are all looking forward to work starting again on Monday and next week's entry should show some progress.  Whilst the island is in the grips of a drought, it is ideal building weather so progress will hopefully be rapid.

The unloading.

A fetching shade of green!!

The site unloading team hard at it.

Logs for the rafters.

Stored on site at last.
All the floorboards will have to be sanded and treated which will take some time.
