The weather has remined dry all week and the island is now officially in the worst drought since records began. Water is being rationed and there is talk in the media of having to import water by barge from the Dominican Republic. The whole island is tinder dry with many bush fires. Obviously, everyone in Marigot is keeping a watchful eye out for the first signs of smoke.
Here you can see the results of a fire which nearly engulfed the site of the Bertola's site at the west end of the Bay.
A reduced team have recommenced work on Brett & Sabina's site. Here Terminus is casting the beams that run around the top of the kitchen wall stone-work.
Kieran & Ilda have taken on the massive task of sanding all the floor boards prior to the wood being treated.
Anthony, the mason, has begun to plaster the steps leading up from the Pump Room .......
.... and the jacuzzi surrounds.
Meanwhile, Kenrick and Shevran have been crafting the form work for the main entrance steps.
