WEEK 75 - THE TOWER STARTS TO GET PLASTERED

The long awaited rainy season arrived for a couple of days, so a foreshortened working week.

The Master Bedroom joists were inserted.

Some general detail of the rafters whilst I was up amongst them!

The external gable end has received some attention.

The plasterers have started on the Tower. Only a portion is visible here - the remainder being currently covered by tarpaulins to protect the new plaster from the rain.

Both sides of the north roof are now fully batoned.

The inside of the lounge is now dry, but the ridge is only covered by tarpauline at present.

Tourists enjoying a view of the Tea House from the deck of a passing cateraman.
