WEEK 59 - DRIVING TO A HALT!

A good week with the casting of the drive completed between showers.

As part of the process, the metal grating has been removed at the foot of the drive to facilitate the clearing of the drain - at last!

In between casting duties, the masons have spent the week plastering various walls.

But the main task was to finish the casting of the drive.

Sextus at the run.

Davie supervising the casting of the beam that was necessary to save the tree on the corner.

Job successfully done.

Kenneth providing the finishing touches.

Shevran and Garvin taking a break from filling the mixer.
The Team enjoy a well deserved beer & admire the drive. The finished article.

Kenrick is pleased with the drive & is keen to drive on with the roof ..............but still no wood!
Sadly, there has been a further delay in the drying/delivery of the second container of wood, and it has been decided to postpone further work until the wood arrives and we are able to complete the roof. Therefore, there will be a suspension of Blog entries for the next 2 weeks. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible!
