A good week weatherwise, with slow progress being made.
Sadly, still no wood from Guyana, but Sabina managed to source some green heart locally so there should be some progress on the floor joists in the near future.
The final loads of back-fill for the drive have been delivered.
The masons have plastered the first guest bedroom ......
and then retired for a well earned rest!!
The ridge beams for the northern end of the upper roof have been crafted,
and the first piece put in place, followed by the initial three rafters.
Not a working environment for the faint hearted!
