Hopefully, the second container of wood will arrive next week and the build of the roof can continue.

WEEK 53 - WASHOUT!
There has been more torrential rain this week than even the Lucians can remember, with many landslides and extensive flooding. Martinique - 30 miles to the north - was even worse hit with flash floods, bridges washed away and 3 people drowned. The Caribbean is not immune from global warming and climate change.
Fortunately, it was drier on Friday allowing the next-door neighbour's plot to be cleared. Could a build be imminent?
The Tea House drive also dried out sufficiently for the Team's vehicles to be parked on site.
The final beam for the drive retaining wall was cast.
By judicious use of tarpaulins, the Team managed to continue work despite the rain.
Here the 'Master' shows the way with his plastering board.
Everybody was co-opted to take part in the plastering process ...

... well, almost everybody!
The final task at the end of the week was to cast the beam on top of the eastern gable end.
