WEEK 226 - WET & WILD

A week dominated by the approach and passing of Tropical Storm ISAAC.  The centre passed to the north of the island causing rare westerly winds and heavy rain.  Sadly this resulted in some old and some new leaks which are being worked on before the next storm passes.

The main focus for this week has been the construction, preparation and fitting shelves in the Master Bedroom walk-in wardrobe....more local wood 'Mabwe'

Whilst Shevran and O'Neal were the expert supervisors ......

....... Owin wanted it to be recorded that he was the one who did all the sanding ......

treating.... and sealing!

Elsewhere, wooden buttresses have been fitted to fan poles in the guest bedrooms.

Fans have been installed above the bed in the Master Bedroom.

Lights are functioning inside and above the walk-in wardrobe.

The mounting shelves are in place for the 3 more gargoyles along the pool veranda.

Sabina has been working on the mirror for this bathroom, it should be hung this weekend.
