Yet another 4 day week due to a public holiday on Thursday, but the weather has been fine and the reduced team have made progress.
There's even been some housekeeping at the end of the week!
Sextus has continued the seemingly endless task of HLSing. Only one more coat to go and this will be done at the end of the project.
Touchstone have delivered the granite top for the Master Bedroom en-suite, but have so far failed to turn up for any pre-arranged fitting appointments.
The electricians have been fitting more cables.
Here Sabina and Shevran discuss the finishing of the steps leading to the Master Bedroom ....
... the edges are subsequently rounded ....
... and put in place.
The first mahogany arch has now been joined at the top and permanently fixed into position.
This week it is the turn of the longitudinal pine poles to be raised into the roof.
Sabina watches anxiously at the Heath Robinson equipment used to raise the extremely heavy poles.
Safely in position, Kenrick and O'Neil start the fixing process.
The Lucian relaxed approach!
A bird's eye view of the workshop.
A reminder of the view from the entrance hall veranda.
