Despite not receiving the balance of the ridge caps or more windows and doors, Kenrick decided to return to work this week. The first few days the weather was fine, but Thursday saw more torrential rain with the north/south roads on the island once again blocked and the hundreds of homes and belongings that had just been cleared of mud, once more buried. The picture above is a small indication of the mess after TOMAS and the ensuing rain.
The masons are completing the stonework to the external kitchen steps.
Gavn has continued with the labourious task of cleaning the external stone work.
Brett has decided that the previously square window sills should be rounded and Anthony is carrying out the task.
The reworked angled kitchen windows have been installed.
Elsewhere, Kenrick and Jeffrey have been putting together the first of the mahogany arches.
