It has been a week of mixed results with ridge tiles and windows arriving, but both having flaws.
Work has continued to clean the internal stone work and the overall effect is most impressive.
The latest batch of windows to arrive are dirty and there is too much visible evidence of filler around the panes of glass. They will be returned to be rectified.
Work has continued to place the remaining roof tiles in anticipation of the arrival of the ridge caps.
The first batch were collected on Wednesday .........
... and delivered gingerly to site where Kenrick began sorting those that were matched in size and usable.
Frustratingly, it was discovered that although the caps were a good fit on the horizontal sections ...
it was a different story on the sloping ends.
An on-site meeting has been scheduled to attempt to find a solution.
