WEEK 123 - PLASTER AND STONE

Welcome to a soggy and grey St Lucia at the end of Week 123.  The hurricanes are still favouring more northerly climes, but a slow moving tropical depression has dumped substantial amounts of rain on the island during the past 48 hours.  Work on-site has been predominantly a continuation of that reported last week, although some tasks have been put in abeyance awaiting final decisions from Sabina who is due back on-island on Sunday.

The masons have been working on filling in the gaps of the stone work ...

..... plastering the No 1 Guest Bedroom ......

..... filling the holes created for the roof supports in the Master Bedroom en-suite...

..... and continuing to plaster in the window frames.

The Car Port ceiling has received one coat of HLS, but the wet weather has precluded a final sanding before the application of the Filter 7.

The wooden ceilings around the pool and in the shower room have had the screw holes filled with dowels.

The view from Franz & Pascals' veranda.
