WEEK 105 - THE FINAL RAFTERS

Another good week with the final rafters having been lifted into position.

Those on the south facing roof have been successfully straightened.

The form work for the beam which will encase the rafters has been started and should be cast next week.

The masons have continued to find areas in need of plastering.

After the final plumbing and electrical conduit had been put in place, the last piece of the veranda outside of the Pump Room has been prepared for casting.

The tilers have continued their work and, now that the rafters are all in place, the Mora will be laid and the final push on the roof will commence.

Jahvan has spent the week having a major clean up around the site, and in particular the pool area which is now looking very smart.

A trial of the slate which may be used to line the top of the jacuzzi wall.

Sabina has collected what she says is the last load of Mahogany cut-offs ..

... but watch this space!!!!!!

A few long range shaky shots.

I will be off island for next week's instalment, but I am sure that Sabina will fill in during my absence.
