Another good week weather wise for building with advances on all fronts. The complicated construction of the roof and the number of tiles required was always going to make it a long drawn out process which is at times frustrating. However, you can already see the final lines beginning to appear and the end result will be stunning.
The tilers have moved steadily along - or upwards - as the case may be ......
and the angles are looking really good.
The first templates for the ridge tiles have been delivered to the manufacturers, and here Kenrick is making the last batch of about 8 different shapes and sizes.
The carpenters have been hard at it lifting and fixing the rafters into the north roof.
The warps will be straightened prior to the Mora ceiling planks being fitted.
Getting close to the computer generated picture of the view from the Master Bedroom!
Meanwhile, the masons have been filling-in the gaps in the external stone-work .....
........ and the plasterers continue their finishing tasks.
Anthony from the front ....
and from the back!
O'Neil continues to construct yet more skylights.
And finally, the water tank has been plastered and is now ready for the final coats of sealant.
