A brief entry as it has been a short working week due to the Public Holiday on Monday, and progress has been further hampered by 4 days of rain.
After 8 weeks of the worst drought since records began, a weather system moved north from Venezuela and provided some much needed precipitation.
It has been amazing to see how quickly nature has responded with the parched brown countryside becoming lush and green overnight.
The rain has also brought out the rich colour of the drying Mahogany and has negated the need to artificially water the planks to prevent cracking.
The weather has meant that the focus of work has moved from the roof to the inside with the masons requiring a constant supply of plaster from the mixer.
As well as the inside of the pool shower/toilet - my camera is not good enough to get a meaningful photo - the corridor at the base of the main staircase has been plastered ....
... and a start made on the entrance hall walls.
Meanwhile, the carpenters have commenced fitting the skylights to the east roof .....
... and cladding the Tower stairs with Wamara.
O'Neal's younger brother who has been employed to collect all the dropped nails on site.
Friday afternoon is site tidy time and you can see here the amount of water that has fallen.
And finally a different view from the normal which was taken as we sailed into the Bay last weekend.
