WEEK 66 - RAFTERS AT LAST

It's good to be back on site and unseasonal dry weather has helped the Team to make good progress this week.

The form-work for the main entrance steps has been started.

Blocks have been delivered and positioned along the sides of the drive ready to be laid.

The site now has more wood in storage than the yard in Guyana!

The main thrust this week has been the long and labour intensive task of lifting the greenheart rafters into position and fixing them in place.

The western roof.
A confusing web of rafters and scaffolding.
The lower roof beginning to take shape, but there are no less than 5 tropical waves marching across the Atlantic so the rainy season could slow us down over the next couple of weeks.
