WEEK 36 - A SLOW START

Sadly, it has been a very slow start to 2009. Reactivating the Caribbean Islands after a 2 week lay-off has been painstaking and unseasonable rain has hampered things still further.

Due to the loss of access from the neighbouring lot, Kenrick has attempted to create a temporary surface to the Tea House drive to allow access for the delivery of materials from the bottom road. However, lack of availability of quarry waste, excavator and roller, and the wetness of the soil after unseasonal rain has hampered his efforts and we will probably have to off-load all materials by hand from the top road.

A temporary fence has been erected between the neighbouring lot and the Tea House.

Some of the form-work and bamboo has been removed from the Car Port roof.

Hopefully there will be more progress to report next week.
